1. 600gm Mutton
  2. 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  3. 2 tbsp red chilli powder
  4. ½ cup thick curd
  5. 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  6. 2 tbsp oil


  1. 35 gm Coriander Seeds
  2. 10 gms cumin seeds
  3. 20 gms poppy seeds
  4. 20 gms fennel seeds
  5. 1 piece of ginger
  6. 10 garlic pods
  7. 50gm coconut grated
  8. 8 dry red chillis medium sized


  1. 3 large tomatoes chopped
  2. 3 large onions chopped
  3. 6 green chillis
  4. 3 tbsp oil
  5. 3 cardamoms
  6. 3 cloves, 1 piece of cinnamon, salt coriander leaves.

Clean the meat and marinate it with ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, thick curd and a little oil; set aside for one hour. Dry roast the coriander seeds, cumin seeds, poppy seeds, fennel seeds, dry red chillies, ginger, garlic and grated coconut. Grind all the dry roasted ingredients into a fine paste. Heat oil in a vessel and season with cardamom, cloves and cinnamon. When it crackles, add chopped onions and slit green chillis till the onions turn golden brown. Add marinated mutton and ground masala and cook the mutton by adding water and chopped tomatoes. Garnish with chopped coriander.
